Turning 6...

At the end of August the girls turned 6.

They had a lovely birthday, spending the morning with their Daddy and then with me. They were spoilt with loads of presents, their favourites were their brand new tablets.

A few days after their birthday they had their birthday party at a trampoline centre with 12 of their friends and cousins. They were once more spoiled with loads of presents and two cakes, Paw Patrol for Cara and Disney Princess for Charlotte.

At 6, Cara has now lost 4 baby teeth which makes Charlotte very jealous as she hasn't lost any yet! Charlotte still loves Paw Patrol, Supertato and Bluey. She enjoys time on her tablet and is getting to be a pro on her Nintendo switch, she is constantly asking for new games and REALLY wants minecraft for Christmas. The girls have started year 1 and are loving their new class. Cara loves the schools interactive playground and often comes home covered in mud from the mud kitchen! Cara is doing well in school, she is having some smaller group work on certain subjects due to her Autism. She loves looking at books at often looks at the book I've read the twins at bedtime and remembers the entire story. Her memory is fantastic, she can tell me exactly what easter eggs she got at Easter 2023 and this year and she doesn't forget anything!

Charlotte was described by her reception teacher as being 'one of the most dramatic girls I've ever met' (In a good way!) This description describes her perfectly, she loves being the centre of attention, loves bring around people and honestly gets quite jealous if she thinks someone else is getting more attention than her! She is obsessed with drawing and her favourite thing to do at school is arts and crafts. Charlotte can now write her full name and whilst phonics and maths aren't her favourite at school she is doing well with them. Charlotte loves Gabbys Dollhouse, dolls, colouring, writing and socialising.

I can't believe the girls are now six, it's seems like such a grown up age!

The girls are in their second year of Rainbows. They have a year left but Charlotte keeps saying she can't wait to start Browines as they might do sleepovers!

The girls are looking forward to Halloween and Christmas.

I booked a caravan break for next sunmer holidays and Cara cant stop talking about it, she keeps asking if we are going tomorrow!

I'm hoping 6 slows down a bit a it feels like the girls were just babies and now they are half as tall as me!
